Getting Started
Install ezcoute and create your first document.
ezcoute is a desktop app for businesses and freelancers to create, send and track quotations and invoices, with multi-invoice project tracking and partial-payment support. It runs entirely on your Windows PC and stores your data locally, so it works offline and keeps your business data private.
Install
- Download the ezcoute installer and run it.
- Launch ezcoute from the Start menu.
- On first launch you’ll activate your license first, then complete a short company setup.
First launch
The very first screen is license activation. Enter the license key from your purchase email (along with the email you bought with) to unlock ezcoute, or start a 14-day free trial. See Licensing & Activation.
Once activated, a short setup wizard walks you through three steps: company details, address, and document defaults. See Company Setup for what each field does.
Your company details print on every document, so it’s worth completing them fully, you can change everything later in Settings.
The main screen
- Dashboard:revenue, receivables and what needs attention.
- Quotes / Invoices / Letterheads:your documents.
- Projects:group related quotes and invoices.
- Customers:your client list.
- Settings:company profile, templates, banking and license.
